CNC processing route determination


CNC lathe feed processing route refers to the turning tool from the point (or machine fixed origin) start to move, until return to the point and the end of the processing program through the path, including the cutting path and cutting tool into, cut out and other non-cutting empty travel path.  

The feed route of finishing is basically carried out along the outline sequence of its parts. Therefore, the key point of determining the feed route is to determine the rough machining and the feed route of empty travel.  

In CNC lathe processing, the determination of the processing route should generally follow the following principles.  

(1) The precision and surface roughness of the machined workpiece should be guaranteed.  

The shortest processing route, reduce the empty travel time, improve the processing efficiency.  

(3) Try to simplify the workload of numerical calculation and simplify the processing program.  

(4) For some of the repeated use of the program, should use subroutine.
